Share the Landscape: How to Live with Grizzlies – Sept. 11
September 11 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Are you interested in helping Park County become a place where grizzly bears and humans safely share the landscape? If so, join PCEC and Save the Yellowstone Grizzly for the event Share the Landscape: How to Live with Grizzlies next week.
Doug Peacock, author and naturalist, will share stories from his five decades of experience in grizzly country, and wildlife specialists Vanessa Chavarriaga and David Buth will give a presentation on best practices for living with grizzlies. They will be followed by a panel discussion made up of local residents, including Trina Smith, manager at B Bar Ranch; Jessie Logan, ecologist; Maaike Middleton, documentary film-maker; and others, who live and work in grizzly country. They will share stories about living with bears, their experience studying bears, and will also answer any questions you may have.
When: Wednesday, September 11, at 7pm
Where: Elk River Books, 120 N Main St, Livingston
We hope to see you there for this free event. With your help, we can work with our neighbors to minimize human-wildlife conflicts and create a safer valley for us all.
