Call To Action Rally During Congressional Recess in Bozeman 2 pm to 3 pm
Gallatin County Courthouse Steps
Join the Bozeman Moms Demand Action chapter in rallying our lawmakers to take meaningful action on gun violence. Let us know you''ll be there — sign up at https://every.tw/2TkSoJS.
Every day, 100 Americans are shot and killed and hundreds more are wounded. The impact of gun violence goes beyond mass shootings; in recent weeks, gun violence has devastated communities across the country. It is past time for senators to listen to Americans and pass a law to require background checks on every gun sale and strong federal red flag legislation.
Senator Steve Daines, when asked if he supported recalling Senators to Washington, DC to deal with gun violence legislation, said that he thought Senators should go back to their states and hear what their constituents had to say. He is not, however holding any listening sessions or town halls to hear what we have to say. So let's tell him from the courthouse steps.
