Dasha moved to Montana in Fall 2016 from New York City and has been teaching yoga in the Bozeman community since 2018. She began practicing yoga 15 years ago while studying English and Journalism at NYU and received her teaching certification in 2012 at Jivamukti Yoga. She is foremost a student and tries to teach from her own practice which is currently influenced by the Iyengar, Kula, and Katonah yoga traditions, Buddhist philosophy and meditation, and too many brilliant teachers to name.Her classes incorporate an intelligent, steady vinyasa flow, precise alignment cues, hands-on adjustments, and a sense of humor, all usually woven together with a spiritual or philosophical thread. In her other life, Dasha is a lawyer and a writer.
