ADULT ART CLASSES
&
6 SESSIONS OF SUMMER ART CAMPS

"DARK CANYON" POUR PAINTING BY GREY WILSON
UPCOMING CLASSES FOR ADULTS:
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...

Pour Painting taught
by Grey Wilson

Date: Saturday, June 10
Time: 11am to 1:30pm
Cost - $40 per student ($35 for LCAC members)

Back by popular demand, Grey Wilson will demonstrate the basics of creating paintings that use gravity as your paint brush. Use of specific materials will be explained, how to use them and effects that can be achieved when combining them.

Students will be able to do more than one painting in the class. They may have to pick up their art the following Tuesday, as it only takes overnight to dry. Completed paintings also move slightly, so it is better to let them set. Drawing skills are not necessary. If you can put ketchup on a hamburger, you can do this. It's lots of fun and you will be surprised how creative you will become.

All materials included.
Location: 119 south Main Street, Downtown Ltown
Registration now available ONLINE: www.livingstoncenter.org or call

Always wanted to feel the exhilaration of casting molten metal? Come experiment with direct pour sand casting, one of the oldest, simplest and most satisfying methods of casting. Bring small objects (up to 1.5 inches) to press directly into the sand or use provided objects. The pressed pieces will not be damaged, but should not be too delicate and must not have any undercuts. Casting will be done in silver unless students wish to bring their own metal. Students will learn to prepare the mold, to cast and different methods of finishing pieces. Lab coat optional.

*No jewelry experience necessary, but experience using a torch is helpful.

casting grain silver (depends on amount each student uses +/- $25)
