ROBERT OSBORN (robertosborn.com) will present a very solid introduction into fine art photography, with an emphasis on digital cameras and the portrait style of Robert Osborn. An important component of this workshop is understanding and controlling exposure.
Saturday session: UNDERSTANDING EXPOSURE (Shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings, depth-of-field, noise, and white balance…how to control exposure to achieve your creative goals).
Sunday session: UNDERSTANDING COMPOSITION (Visualization, designing a photograph, creativity, finding your own subject matter…how to raise your photography to the level of art).
This is a hands-on, somewhat intense, workshop with opportunities on both days to apply the skills you are learning…and a portrait shoot with a model on Sunday to put everything you have learned into a powerful photograph.
Location: Osborn Gallery; 119 W. Callender ST
