The office of the Clerk of District Court is governed by over 800 Statutes, some Federal Statutes as well as Local and Supreme Court Rules. In order to perform the functions of her job with the most up to date laws and changes in these laws, she has attended numerous seminars and workshops during her public service. She became a Certified Clerk of District Court through the Montana State University in 1991 and has met the requirements every four years to remain certified.

She has been very active in the Montana Clerk of District Court’s Association and was elected President of that Association in 1987 and again in 2014. She has been elected and helped to start the Education Committee of the Clerk’s Association and served on the executive board for 22 years. She was appointed to the Automation Committee in 1989 and is still serving on that committee. In addition, she has actively supported many local community programs and has been a member of various Livingston Organizations such as the Livingston Golf Course and the Livingston Roundup Association.

Ms. Little is a lifelong resident of Park County and spent most of her earlier life in the rural communities of Paradise Valley and the Main Boulder. She has one son, Scott, a successful golf pro, who resides in Arizona with his wife, Karin, who is an educator, and their twin girls Serra and Anna.

Previous to her District Court experience, Ms. Little worked for over 13 years in the field of accounting, giving her an invaluable tool in the administration of the Clerks’ office, especially in the field of budgeting.

As a proven, dedicated, elected public servant, June Little looks forward to continuing competent and courteous service to all citizens of Park County. She eagerly accepts and performs the monumental tasks required by the office of the Clerk of District Court, and consistently maintains a high level of office integrity. Also, Ms. Little’s experience and extensive knowledge of the Clerk of District Court’s office procedures proved to be very helpful during the transition of our new District Judge Brenda Gilbert. Ms Little is privileged to hod the office of the Clerk of District Court and is extremely proud to serve in her chosen career and to have her excellent Deputy Clerks of District Court, Terry Sarrazin, Pamela Pendill, Shelly Breeden, and Molly Bradberry, serving the residents of Park County. June will continue to provide excellence in the performance of her duties in her office for the taxpayer of Park County.
